  5. Super Text Search is a utility for Windows 95/98 and NT which enables you to
  6. quickly search files for text. You can search anything from a single file to
  7. an entire drive for any text you need to find. Both plain text files (program
  8. source code, batch files, HTML files, etc.) and binary files (word processing
  9. and spreadsheet documents, databases, even executable programs) can be
  10. searched, as can files archived inside Zip files. In addition to simple
  11. searches for words or phrases, the program allows you to use regular
  12. expressions (as found in Grep utilities, which will be familiar to the more
  13. technical among you) to perform more advanced searches including wild cards
  14. and various types of pattern matching. After performing a search, files
  15. containing the search text can be viewed, edited or opened in their associated
  16. applications. Search results can also be printed.

  18. To install the program, simply run the Setup program.

  41. Please note that the shareware version of Super Text Search is a 30-day
  42. evaluation version and will cease to function after this period if it is
  43. not registered.

  45. There are two ways to register: direct payment to me by check or cash, or
  46. credit card ordering through Public Software Library Ltd. (PSL), a leading
  47. distributor of shareware, which can be done online or by fax or mail.
  48. Instructions for credit card ordering may be found below.

  50. For registrations sent to me, the fee is $20.00. Upon receipt of the fee, I
  51. will send you the registration code by E-mail, so be sure to include your
  52. E-mail address. If you don't have one, I will send it by snail mail to your
  53. postal address. When you receive this, start the program and choose
  54. Help/Enter Registration Code on the menu, then enter the code.

  56. Please note that if you are registering for multiple users, you must pay the
  57. registration fee for each user. Contact me by E-mail for information on site
  58. license pricing.
